As a school, we are committed to providing our children with the broadest and most engaging curriculum. Part of this means giving them the opportunity to learn outside the classroom.
Visits across the years will include local zoos, RAF Cosford Air Museum, Cadbury World, Selly Oak Manor, a bus tour of Birmingham, Wroxter Roman City, Tamworth Castle, BMAG, the Think Tank, BCLM and Bewdley Museum. When suitable visits to other sites aren’t possible, we enhance the curriculum by taking part in online live talks with children’s authors or having visitors into school such as education officers from Severn Trent and the History Man, David Cadle, who can be everything from an Egyptian slave to a Roman emperor or a WW2 soldier.
In addition, we offer at least two residential trips for the children to experience staying away from home and some adventurous activities. These usually take place at Edgmond Hall, Frank Chapman or Plas Gwynant.
