I have decided to let you have some fun this week. I would like you to write your own version of a story The Wise Wizard and Some Curious Cats. The story can be found here:
http://myths.e2bn.org/mythsandlegends/story518-a-wise-wizard-and-some-curious-cats.html
Watch the story and then prepare your own. Remember one thing – enjoy it, write with freedom and imagination. Use all the fantastic words you know, experiment with punctuation such as speech and use of brackets to add detail. Also this is your work for the whole week so I will be expecting a lengthy piece of writing.
Maths will follow.

Hi Miss Talor, Pavan is struggling with this story. Do you have any ideas for him? How would you have guided him at school? How much help would you have given him? Any way you can speak to him as he doesn’t seem to want to do this but I think he needs to if it one of his weaknesses. Help.
Hi,
Mr Tame set this task to allow the children a chance at using their imagination to write a story. Therefore aside from guidance with structure, I would let the children work independently. I would suggest Pavan summarises the story first and then rewrites making changes. For example, the two witches may instead be two children with supernatural powers who make sure they win every football match at school. However someone finds out and stops this from happening – just an idea! I hope this makes sense – I will be in school Monday and can always call if you’re still unsure.
Have a good weekend, Miss Taylor
