Today was the first Forest School session for Year 2 and we were all very excited to see what learning Mrs Zaib had organised for us.
We went into our brilliant forest area to create bird feeders using cereal. We had to thread hoops onto string which birds and other living things will be able to eat if they are hungry. It took lots of perseverance to complete the task, but our trusty BLP skills enabled us to produce wonderful results!
Year 2 hope that our creations will keep our school habitat thriving with wildlife and that we can continue to have fabulous outdoor sessions during this half term.

Imogen was so excited about these told me all about how she made them and can’t wait to see if the birds have eaten them next week 😊
