On Monday some very special visitors arrived in pre-school, 10 eggs arrived in an incubator. The children were very excited and couldn’t wait to see what would happen. By Wednesday 2 chicks had hatched, called Potato and Boris by the children! All the children got to very gently stroke one of the chicks and say hello. By Thursday we had a population explosion and we now have 7 chicks, 2 girls and 5 boys. We will be thinking of more names later. We will look after the chicks in pre-school until next Friday. It has been a lovely experience for the children and we will post more pictures as they grow.
