Hieroglyphs

Today we have learnt about the Egyptian writing. They used a system of pictures or symbols called hieroglyphs. They were very detailed and archaeologists have worked out the letter that each image represents. We had a go at writing the Egyptian alphabet and then our name. Next week we will be making our own Cartouche.
