Mrs Kenth and I have loved getting to know our new class and we have been so impressed with how they have all come in very sensibly, followed lots of new rules and shown such a positive attitude to the start of a very unusual new school year. We have had some fun, set up lots of classroom systems and we even had time to be creative!
We have completed some work on a book called ‘The Cloudspotter’ by Tom McLaughlin. It is about a little boy called Franklin who is very lonely except for the adventures he has while he is cloud spotting.
We have imagined what we would do if we were clouds and created a cloud collage; we have imagined pictures in the sky and created chalk drawings; we have thought of ways for Franklin to feel less lonely and we have created hot air balloons all about ourselves.
We’re looking forward to starting week 2!
