The Story Fairy has sent us The Tiger who came to Tea to read together this week. What an absolute classic! We’ve loved this story and have enjoyed making tiger cup cakes. We took them home to eat before the tiger could come to pre-school and eat them all! 🐯
Our children are really enjoying looking after our hamster Joanne. They have been learning how to stroke her and what food she enjoys eating.
We’ve had such a busy two weeks in pre-school since the start of the new term. We’ve welcomed 16 new children to our setting and they are all settling well and having lots of fun. We’ve made purple sparkly playdough, played with wobbly jelly and numicon and read lots and lots of stories. Well done…
We have had a brilliant last week of term with lots of lovely Christmas celebrations and activities.
On Wednesday we had our pre-school Christmas party and had a very special visitor. Santa came with his doggy helpers to deliver some presents to our children. Thank you for visiting Santa. We all had a great time with lots of exciting party games and delicious party food.
We are delighted to share with you that pre-school has been rated as Good by Ofsted in our recent inspection. We are so pleased with the result which is down to the dedication and hard work of all our staff. Well done everyone.
Today we’ve been baking in pre-school. We made Rudolf nose jam tarts which look delicious. Thank you to our school cook Tina for baking them for us – we love you Tina!
We invited all our families into pre-school for a Christmas Craft morning this week. We were delighted that so many were able to join us to make lots of beautiful Christmas crafts.
