“Staff work well together. They are passionate about, and committed to, providing good standards of care and learning for the children who attend”. Ofsted report, 15/11/2016
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and believe in putting the individual needs of each child at the heart of everything we do. We have two well-equipped rooms with areas including role play, construction and messy play and excellent outdoor facilities including a mud kitchen and forest.
“Perryfields Pre-School has always been a welcoming place every morning. The children and parents are greeted with a very friendly and enthusiastic good morning!…I’m so glad I chose this pre-school. Pre-school do everything they can to help settle your child into pre-school life. The staff always keep you up to date about anything you may need to know. If you’re worried about your child for any reason you can call them to discuss your concerns.
The system which they use daily for you to see what your pre-schooler has done that day is brilliant. Photos and captions/short paragraph so you can relate back to your child what you’ve seen they’ve done during the day is a great way to interact with them at the end of the day. The staff are not here just for your child but for you as well. If you need any type of support for any reason they go above and beyond for you. I have other children who have attended Perryfields Pre-School and are now thriving in school which I believe is from having a brilliant early start with pre-school. I can’t thank the staff enough for everything they have done with my children over the years and giving them the best start to school life they could.”

“I would recommend Perryfields Pre-School to anyone. They offer so much support for children and parents.
They have helped my daughter so much. Being in lockdown my daughter really lacked confidence and wasn’t used to new grown ups and children, she found it difficult to mix and to separate from us. They really have helped my little girl get ready for big school, she is more confident around new adults and new children.
Pre-school staff are so loving and caring they really know children inside out, if they see a child needs help in certain areas they know the right program and techniques to help you and your child.
They are great at communicating what the children do at pre-school, so you can keep their learning going at home. I love how they involve family and friends with special days when you can attend pre-school and join in the fun.
So sad she will be leaving her amazing pre-school teachers but without you it would have been a much harder transition into school.
Thank you for all you have done.”

“Perryfields Pre-School have been absolutely fantastic for my 3 children who came here. Not only are the staff there for the children but they are also there to support the parents, myself included. My children were all supported for their own needs and really excelled in their learning since joining.
I would highly recommend this pre-school to other parents, the staff are so lovely and approachable with anything you or your child needs.”

“When our daughter started Perryfields Pre-School we was really worried about how she’d cope as she had never been in a childcare setting before, lockdown had seen that she hadn’t had regular contact with other children plus she was delayed in certain development areas. We’d already referred her to specialist services before to get her some support and she was discharged each time. We didn’t need to worry at all about her at Perryfields Pre-School at all. The staff are so lovely and supportive. My daughter has honestly loved every minute being there, and has gone in each day with a big smile on her face. The staff, especially Clair, have fought really hard to get our daughter the support she needs and she has thrived. And importantly they have liaised with the Reception staff to ensure that she continues to receive that ongoing support plus more, and everything’s in place for her to have a smooth transition in September.
If you’re child has any support needs he/she will be in the best hands at Perryfields Pre-School. They will go above and beyond and fight to make sure the right supports in place. Your child will have regular assessments and you are kept up to date with progress.
We will forever be thankful and grateful to Perryfields Pre-School for giving our daughter the best start in her school career”

“From the very first day, our son has run into pre-school with a smile on his face and he continues to do so.
Perryfields pre-school has a more traditional feel and the way the week is structured beginning with the story fairy delivering a new book is excellent. As a family we’ve really enjoyed finding out what the book of the week is and seeing if we have it at home or trying to find a second hand copy so we can read together. The book ties all the activities that week into a nice theme.
All the staff are friendly, approachable and knowledgeable and have the child’s best interest at heart.
We are updated daily via Tapestry as to what the children have been up to and it is lovely to get an insight into their day.
We feel our son has come on in leaps and bounds since beginning in September. He has made many friends including the staff and has learnt lots of new things which will stand him in good stead for starting school.
Thank you to all at Perryfields pre-school for all you have done in giving our son a flying start.”

“Best decision we ever made for our daughter choosing Perryfields preschool, after our initial visit we explained our daughter required some extra support and they have not failed once to ensure that she got every bit of support she needed, as a result our daughter is happy, more confident, and accepting of routine, making greats strides in building relationships with adults and her peers. They have even ensured that the support she has continues when she moves into reception. Every day our daughter goes into preschool with a smile on her face and it’s a true joy to see. The manager, deputy manager and support staff are the kindest, most nurturing and supportive staff you could ever wish to be taking care of your child. The daily activities are varied and interesting, great communication and feedback and you can even see what your child has been doing through the tapestry app. Without doubt a 5 star preschool.”

“What a journey this little boy as been on. The day he came to your pre-school family his whole life changed. He’s confidence as grown, he’s resilience to certain situations became more apparent. And that’s all down to your wonderful team of staff. I cannot ask for a better start to my child’s education, our family will be forever grateful. ( you will be on the child’s invisible string, so when he pulls the string your hearts will let you know my child is thinking of you all)
You’ve made him welcome, feel loved, valued and feel right at home.
What you do on a day to day basis is above and beyond, and for us you have given us immense support to allow us to stabilise this little boy.
Keep doing, what you are doing you are simply the best.
Graduation day was just the most enjoyable day and you certainly know our children well, thank you again.“
Sessions are 8.45am – 11.45am and 11.45-15.15 Monday to Friday
