Year One have been enjoying the book Dogger as part of our English learning. It is the story of a little boy called Dave and his favourite cuddly toy, a dog named Dogger. One day, Dave loses Dogger at the school and we follow the journey of him finding him on a raffle stall and having to find a way to get him back.

We read the story and discussed our favourite parts before drawing a Story Map to help us understand the structure of the book. This will help us in our writing because we can follow the story in the right order and not miss parts out.

We are very proud of our learning and are looking forward to writing the story in our own words to show how far our learning has come since September.
