Good morning Mulberry and Heather Class,
This will be our last day of Home Learning and we will be back in class very soon. Remember to wear your outdoor PE kit on Thursday as we have PE. If you haven’t completed your application for high school, the closing date is 31st October. Check out the video about choosing a high school by reading the previous blog.
If you have any questions or you want to send Miss Clulow or myself your work, please use the email addresses below.

Today’s English task will be a slightly different from the previous ones. I have asked you to look at and read different stories from The Book Hopes. Today I would like you to choose one of the short stories and complete and evaluate by writing a review. Below you will find a link to the website where you will find ‘The Book of Hopes’ and a link to the Word document you can use to write your review. If you are feeling creative, you could create your own writing frame and illustrate.
In maths, we will be continuing to learn about how to subtract using a formal method. Scroll down the PDF (blue document) and find Wednesday’s date and work through the different tasks. Your maths activities are on the PDF underneath. It is a PDF so you will have to download and print it or work from it on a separate piece of paper. Remember to complete your group’s task. Please ensure you have checked mymaths and completed all your assigned tasks for the last week.

Further home learning activities can be found on Purple Mash and Active Learn. There are plenty of activities to complete. If you can’t remember your login details, send us an email using our class email addresses.
For those who want to practise their tables, login to https://ttrockstars.com/. Alternatively, you can download copies of your tables clubs from the school website. Go to the home page and open the curriculum tab. There you will find all the time table clubs.
Stay safe, be good, work hard and we’ll see you on Thursday.

I am very proud of all the children who have been in over the last two weeks- it has been a little strange but you all tried to complete the tasks and improved your IT skills in the process. Well done and thank you!
I look forward to seeing all of Mulberry and Heather back tomorrow!
Miss Francis
