Good morning Mulberry and Heather Class,
We hope you are well and are keeping up with your home learning tasks. Thank you and well done to those children who have used the class emails to send their work to either Miss Clulow or myself.

Today in English we will be continuing with our learning about writing and punctuating direct speech. Scroll through the blue PDF until you get to Wednesday’s lesson (p.16). You will need to have paper and pencils/pens to hand so you can complete the different tasks. Answers to the tasks are on the following pages. Do not be tempted to jump to these pages. Have a go and then check. If you have errors, go back and have another go just like we would in class. Underneath the English blue PDF, you will find the green link to the English task. You can download the Word document and work on it electronically or you can write your sentences on a separate piece of paper.

In maths, we will continuing with addition using a formal method. Scroll down the PDF (blue document) and find today’s date (p.26). Your maths tasks are on the slides so you need to work through them answering the questions on a separate piece of paper. You can check your answers as you go. There is no separate maths sheet today; your tasks are all on the blue PDF.
Yr 6 Maths daily lessonsBelow you will find today’s reading activity. The answers are underneath each set of questions so you can check how you did. Please don’t peek! You will need to write your answers on a separate piece of paper as you will not be able to write on a PDF. Alternatively, you could print it out and work on it but you don’t have to.
Yr 6 Reading Wednesday Find-and-Copy-ExamplesTasks that need to be completed by the end of the week are the same as yesterday (Theme and spelling). If you have completed those tasks already, check out Purple Mash and Active Learn for further activities. There are lots of fun activities for you to complete and new ones are being added each day.
For those who want to practise their tables, login to https://ttrockstars.com/. Alternatively, you can download copies of your tables clubs from the school website. Go to the home page and open the curriculum tab. There you will find all the time table clubs.
Stay safe, be good and work hard.
