Wednesday – Mrs Kenth would like you to put your facts that you found out about Pompeii into a newspaper article.
Think about –
- What the title of your newspaper is going to be.
- What your headline is going to be.
- What your first paragraph (orientation) is going to include. This needs to be a short summary of the article.
- What facts and opinions your other paragraphs will include
- Include a picture and a caption.
- Include different starters to your sentences like adverbials and prepositions
- Newspaper template Success criteria newspaper reports
Wednesday involves using known facts to calculate missing lengths before working out the perimeter of shapes.

Thursday – Mrs Kenth would like you to select a picture from the choices given and choose what you want to write about it. Think about the difference genres we have learnt about – diary entry, story, and newspapers. You can choose which piece of writing you complete and which picture it links to. I am looking for you to be creative and apply the different things we have learnt about in your writing.
