Yesterday, Denim and Sapphire visited Quinton Church as part of our Religious Education topic. We consolidated our knowledge of general information about the church and Christianity.

We have been looking at the details and engraving of Anglo-Saxon Swords. We then designed our own and created them in clay. We were very impressed with our efforts and results.
Today we have had Louise from Sandwell Road Safety Education Team visit. She has delivered assemblies to KS1 and Year 4 & 5. Then class workshops with Year 3 and 6. The children learnt all about crossing safely, car safety and a catchy little song for a reminder....
